Activities :

The Scientific Geoinformation Center (NGIC) Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) conducts various researches, studies, projects, discussions etc regarding the technical management is association with the contemporary environmental problems. Thus, the issues like pollution, contamination of soil, water, destruction of ground water etc are monitored, measured so that preventive steps can be taken. The outcome is then taken to generate geo-information. These information are used to support the Geographical Information System.
