Marshall Islands Marine Resources Authority
The Marshall Islands Marine Resources Authority was developed in 1997. The Marshall Islands Marine Resources Authority is working under the Ministry of Natural Resources. The Marshall Islands Marine Resources Authority is subdivided into two main departments which are oceanic division and coastal division. The Marshall Islands Marine Resources Authority is facing many complications to reach its mission. The main focus of the Marshall Islands Marine Resources Authority is to generate awareness of the local people in Marshall Islands about marine resources. The Marshall Islands Marine Resources Authority is try to involve local people for the development of marine resources. The Marshall Islands Marine Resources Authority conducts surveys and projects for collecting informations of the marine resources, island fish market, use of seaweed etc. The projects and researches are sponsored by the Japanese government.
